Oak Cliff Place is the creation of Douglas M. Bauer, DDS. After operating in an open mall for eleven years in Eagan, Minnesota, Dr. Bauer found an ideal location for a new building in the same neighborhood. He converted two residential lots to commercial zoning in accordance with the Eagan comprehensive plan. With the help of Jim Strapko and his team, Dr. Bauer obtained City approval for a site and multi-tenant building design that preserves much of the hilly character of the land and many mature oaks. Taking a cue from the site, he called the new development Oak Cliff Place and renamed his practice Oak Cliff Dental Care.

Planning for the future, Dr. Bauer built ten treatment rooms. He did not have an associate at the time; however, he was anticipating graduation from dental school of an excellent prospect, his daughter, now Dr. Mari Bellmont. They are joined by Dr. Tom Cafarella and the Oak Cliff Dental Care team.
